The sound of the Californian team was too heavy for the fans of "Judas Priest" and too soft for fans of "Metallica", which is why she was unable to find a big success. The first two songs from the repertoire of the future "Agent Steel" ( "Taken By Force" and "144,000 Gone") were recorded in 1983, when vocalist John Sayriis was listed in the ranks of "Sceptre". Later this fellow worked in "Abattoir", and in 1984 assembled a team of "Sanctuary". The project, soon changed its name to "Agent Steel", also includes guitarists Mark Marshall and Sill Simmons, bassist George Robb and drummer Chuck Profus. In the summer of 1984, this configuration produced the demo "144,000 Gone", by which "agents" received a contract from the "Combat Records" ...
