Having glanced at the name of the new album by Zhanna Bodnaruk, quite naturally, you might think that the best songs from her creative store are recorded here. She has been at the large scene for already about twenty years – consequently, she for sure has something to boast. But – no. That it, she does have something to boast, certainly, but this album is devoted to quite different songs. You will hear here the songs that are not simply known all through the world – by loved by the whole world. They are not forgotten and do not disappear from the air during not weeks – but years, and it refers, I think, to the absolute majority of countries. Songs in English, French, Italian, Portuguese – you will find a bright palette here. Thus, you can be absolutely confident – this disc will bright you joy. I will say at once that arrangement of the songs is updated, but not to that extent that it is impossible to recognize a song from the first sounds. And it is even pleasant. First – because the melodies are just nice pleasant. And second – because the major task, I think, was not arrangement, but – presentation of singing by Zhanna Bodnaruk in all of its beauty. And the goal was attained one hundred percent. It is beautiful, and in some songs the power of performance just strikes. You should familiarize with this. Zhanna Bodnaruk is obviously one of the best singers of the Ukrainian variety art. Moreover – she does not stop on her way of self-perfection, and the recent albums testify to it.
