Bozhichi: Ukrayinski Tantsi. Part 2 (2011)
Folklore Ensemble "Bozhychi" was formed on Jan. 7, 1999 from a group kolyadnikov. It consists of 7 members, graduates of the folklore of the National Music Academy of Ukraine. Tchaikovsky and the Kiev National University of Culture and the Arts. "Bozhychi" are vocal and instrumental music of the rural, folk dances Dnieper in Ukraine, especially the Left Bank. The repertoire of the ensemble of its participants write themselves into folklore expeditions, which are committed already set. Vocal repertoire is made up of ceremonial (kolyadnitskie, spring and Easter, Peter, Kupaly, zhnivnye, wedding), and "street" ("drinking"), broaching and humorous songs, songs of soldiers and Chumatski environment. Instrumental part - dance tunes played on an old accordion - "Wreath" and tamburinopodobnom tambourine. "Bozhychi" know more than five dozen ancient Ukrainian folk dances, taken over directly from the carriers of tradition and pass their skills to others through the operation of the School of the traditional folk dance. " The ensemble has its own folk play "Kolo life". "Bozhychi" are also taking part in other theatrical productions.
