Cream - British rock band, first in the history of rock music supergroup (a group formed from the already famous musicians), which existed from 1966 to 1968, consisting of guitarists Eric Clapton, bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker. The bold experiments in aggravation, sealing the blues rock sound suggest Cream, along with Jimi Hendrix, one of the pioneers of hard rock. Cream, existed for just over two years, had a significant influence on the development of rock, laying the foundation for blues-rock and hard rock and late 60's - early 70's.
