This American singer, courageous woman who achieved fame, universal recognition and respect despite series of setbacks, pursuing her in the beginning of his career. She survived losing the lawsuit, bankruptcy, loss of voice work in clubs and pubs, but nevertheless was able to turn the wheel of fortune when it has seemed impossible. Cyndi Lauper (Cyndi Lauper) was one of the brightest stars of early MTV. Slim, girlish voice Lauper and her unbridled joy become part and parcel of music 80's, and helped her not only to break into the top of the charts, but to become a genuine pop star like Madonna. It became a cult figure, calling America a clan of female fans and fans who dress like and have made Lauper "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" their anthem. At first, her music was a bright, color mixture, consisting of various styles, including new wave, post-punk, reggae, pop and funk, but since the mid 80's, she was more drawn to the standard pop song. Its mere appearance on the musical Olympus America 80 helped popularize the post-punk and new wave in a new light, making them accessible and more easily perceived part of pop music than it was earlier.
