David Gilmour 2DVD - Remember That Night. Live at the Royal Albert Hall (2007)
There is good music, want to comprehend, which requires some internal work, we can say discipline. This is - as "author's cinema" or "real literature". But there are at least good music, which comes to us easily, but that does not indicate the simplicity and lightness - rather, it itself, as it pushes us to understand, comprehend it. For me this music in 2006 was released after a 22-year break next solo album by David Gilmour On An Island. Inspired by and admired heard, I waited patiently for the subsequent release DVD. And then, at the end of October 2007 double DVD Remember That Night was the mine. He did not deceive the expectations - no picture and sound quality, nor, most importantly, content. Initially I had some distrust of the design - "Gilmore simply with a guitar", especially in reddish tones (though there is a clear roll-DVD titles, and one of the songs from the album) - it seemed defiantly not a concept, even after a fairly quiet design CD. But doubt was, it was worth to take this issue in hand. Concert photos are good, varied and increase the anticipation of view, and spatial layout menu under flowing variations studio tracks perfectly adjusts to further action.
