About movie: Ochen qualitative political thriller from director Roger Donaldson ("White Sands", "The Recruit"). The film is dedicated to the events of the Cuban missile crisis, which in 1962 shook the whole world. Then the world teetered on the brink of nuclear war during the long 13 days - hence the name. This picture is a detailed reconstruction of the events of those days and is based on a large number of archival documents, many of which were declassified recently. The film shows the actions of the American side and all of the "advice" we can see from their point of view. The events of those days are shown through the eyes of the Presidential Adviser for particularly important cases, played by Kevin Costner. In addition, film shows and other political figures, sound and tuned behavior helped to keep the delicate balance.
