Dmitri Hvorostovsky, possessing unique in its capabilities and flexibility of voice, sang arias from Russian operas "Songs and Dances of Death", which formed in 7 volume collector's edition in 18 volumes. The disc fourteen works, including arias from operas by Rimsky-Korsakov's "Sadko," Kashchei immortal "," Snow Maiden "," The Tsar's Bride ". Arias from the opera "Prince Igor" A. Borodin, three arias from the opera "Demon" by A. Rubinstein and "Aleko" by Rachmaninov. As well as four works from the song cycle "Songs and Dances of Death" by M. Mussorgsky. Dmitri Hvorostovsky has recorded album of Russian opera "Songs and Dances of Death" with world-renowned conductor Valery Gergiev and the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater
