Juliette Greco: Best Songs (Grand Collection) (2007)
The only French singer, who was honored to be a rival of the great Edith Piaf, one of the stars of postwar France, embodied in his songs frustration and poverty of French intellectuals that followed the Second World War. She spent a lot of time in the bohemian cabaret clubs of Paris, among the poets, writers, artists and musicians, at the same time she received a proposal to conduct a program of poetry on national radio, and only in the late 40s Juliette began performing in small halls. Her debut single was released in 1951, followed by the Greco went to concerts in Brazil and the U.S., and then took a tour through France, and in the late 50s, several years collaborated with Serge Ginsburom.
