Description: Zhanr Russian romance became popular in the wake of Romanticism trends in the XVIII century. It existed as a sentimental romance, when the verses of poets such as Sumarokov Trediakovsky or written on the motives of folk songs. V Russia first "romance" called the vocal work in French (albeit written by Russian composer), and work with text in Russian - "Russian Song".
