"For the first time in Ukraine, the group Dazzle Dreams, inspired by folklore expeditions in distant places of Ukraine, dared organizing a series of folklore expeditions all over the world. On February, 21, 2008, the folklore expedition of the project Dazzle Dreams Sound System left for Nepal. The primary objective of the project is searching and recording of countries' ethnic music – music samples, accumulation of an original record library and its integration into their own music. During one week, the guys accumulated a great number of original samples, and they became part of new tracks by Dazzle Dreams. Searching for new music sounds, the guys visited historical places, religious sacred objects, remote city quarters and hamlets. All of this long way was passed in order to meet local musicians, to communicate with them and to record sounding of instruments that they play. The guys managed to record sounds of the tabla, harmony, sitar, singing bowl, digrado, sarangi. Together with Nepal musicians, Dimitri, Shura and Greg learned and played acoustic versions of their hits, as well as performed the new composition "Step by Step". Due to using a mobile mini-studio, Dazzle Dreams have at a high quality recorded sounds of exotic instruments in their veritable, primary sounding. The portable studio is equipped with special technique making it possible to record material at any climatic conditions. And the sounds of nature caught with a special microphone, will complement the tracks with the participation effect and will reproduce the aura of the locality where they were recorded".
